WHAT IS INTELLIGENCE ?
There
are several ways by which you can judget
the intelligence levels in an individual.
Therefore there are several definitions
of intelligences. like
- The
act or state of knowing; the exercise
of the understanding.
- The
capacity to know or understand; readiness
of comprehension; the intellect, as
a gift or an endowment.
- Information
communicated; news; notice; advice.
- Acquaintance;
intercourse; familiarity.
- Knowledge
imparted or acquired, whether by study,
research, or experience; general information.
- An
intelligent being or spirit; -- generally
applied to pure spirits; as, a created
intelligence.
TYPES
ON INTELLIGENCE
Verbal Intelligence
The
ability of brain to know the vocabulary
and to generate the relation between
them.
e.g.
a dog is to puppy and a cat is to ___________________
a logical answer would be kitten.
Now
the brain has gathered the same relation
between a dog to that of a puppy and
search the vocabulary to fit the best
suited answer in the black which carries
the same relation.
Numerical
Intelligence
The
ability of brain to play with alphabets
and numbers
e.g.
what should be the next number in the
series 2, 4, 6, 8, ___
a logical answer would be10.
Now
the brain has understood the sequence
of the odd numbers and generated the
next number in the sequence.
Engineering
Intelligence
The
ability of brain to manipulate space
and dimensions in our mind. The ability
to fit spaces in appropriate places.
The
above three intelligences that are most
commonly tested in the IQ tests but these
are not all, in fact there are other types
of intelligences which are more of those
that complies with the personality and
intellect of an individual.
Creative
Intelligence
It
is also known as perceptional intelligence.
This could further be defined as the
“giant universe in side the brain
which creates all the possible answers
and solutions”. This is the ability
of mind to link colors, spaces, dimension
which does not normally link together
thus create new and unusual ideas. It
is the capability of brain to make unusual
connections.
e.g.
When a simple “pick the odd man
out” test was given to a girl
of 6th grade.
To pick the odd man out from earth,
pale moon, sun and lemon. She crossed
the earth. When inquired about this
unusual selection. In most of the cases
the obvious choice was to be that of
lemon because it was not the object
of universe like other three. The girl
replied that the earth was the only
object she found “blue”.
Her
brain created a different picture out
of it. This is known as creative intelligence.
An unusual answer which is based upon
concrete logic but entirely different
to that of a normal opinion.
Inter-personal Intelligence
The
ability of brain to relate with all
other brains. Or the ability of brain
to contact with all other intelligences
and to communicate with them.
This
is perhaps the most important of all.
This intelligence is prominently responsible
for the relationships that you have
with other people.
Intra=personal
Intelligence
The
ability of brain to know who you really
are fundamentally. In can also be defined
as the ability to know your personality
under you supervised control. It is
talking with your self intelligently.
Sensual
Intelligence
It
is the ability of the brain to exercise
all the senses superbly well about your
self. This is the ability of the senses
to take in all the information and process
them intelligently.
Bodily
Kinesthetic Talismanic Intelligence
It
is the ability to predict the probable
out put of massive calculations in a
split second and to decide the action
in response to them.
e.g.
Crossing a busy street without crossing
is a perfect example.
While crossing the road, an individual
looks to his side and observes the liver
and pulley based objects (humans), vehicles
of different masses, dimensions, colors
and material approaching him at varied
velocities. Now, in a split second his
brain captures all, calculate the probable
output as what will reach approach him
when and where; and then take the step
ahead or wait at place or to step back.
And then between cars, cycles and other
small to big vehicles the individual
crosses the road mostly without even
a single brose on his body.
This
is a massive calculation of post Newtonian
and post Einsteinian levels but the
brain calculates it in split second.
No computer can calculate the calculation
of that complexity and massive data
till date. The biggest evidence is that
no such computer has been engineered
till date that could cross any busy
street with this proficiency.
Spiritual
Intelligence
It
is the ability of brain that involves
an individual to live in harmony in
relation to its environment. It is a
very gentle but very strong intelligence.
Genius
Qoutient
It
is also known as the intelligence of
intelligences. The combination of all
intelligences as when to apply which
at what occasion.
